Green Bay Police Investigate Armed Robbery at El Ranchito on S. Webster Ave.; Suspect Wanted

The Green Bay Police Department is requesting the assistance of the public to help identify the suspect of an armed robbery at El Ranchito on Saturday, February 17, 2024.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Green Bay Police were dispatched to 240 S. Webster Avenue just before 4:30 p.m. when employees called 911 regarding a man who had come into the business with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect was given an undisclosed sum of cash and then fled east on foot on Stuart Street.

The suspect is described as about 6’0” tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. They wore a black mask, beige or light gray hooded sweatshirt, black or dark gray pants, white shoes, and a light blue backpack.

With the help of surveillance images, we believe that the suspect may have been walking in the area earlier in the afternoon but was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black or dark gray pants, and black shoes with the same light blue backpack.

We are asking the public if they may have seen a person matching this description or have a surveillance or doorbell camera that may have captured footage of this person to contact us immediately.
