Winter Weather Advisory until 11:00AM Tuesday

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Bristol Bay, mainly from Dillingham north and west and around Port Heiden.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 11 AM AKST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on difficult travel conditions. Heavy snow and localized areas of blowing snow could cause significantly reduced visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... A band of moderate to heavy snow is expected to develop from Port Heiden north to Dillingham late tonight and linger in place through Tuesday morning. The heaviest snow will fall overnight through early Tuesday morning before becoming lighter during the afternoon. For locations east of the Dillingham - Port Heiden line, snow will likely mix with rain, limiting snow amounts. A corridor of gusty gap winds up to 40 mph is expected between Kokhanok and Koliganek by early Tuesday morning.
