INCIDENT: P.C. 29800(A)(1) - Felon in Possession of a Firearm
LOCATION: Greewnwood Pl/Yates Rd, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Eva Marie Mendoza, 37-year-old Transient of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Thursday, February 15, 2024, Deputy S. Garnica assisted City of Victorville Code Enforcement and Sanitation Crew with removing two transients from private property where they had set up camp.
Upon arrival Eva Marie Mendoza was the only person on the private property. Mendoza was asked to leave the private property and agreed to remove her belongings and leave. During the process of assisting Mendoza in gathering her belongings, two firearms were located in her property. Mendoza is a convicted felon and is prohibited from owning firearms.
Mendoza was transported and booked at High Desert Detention Center for P.C. 29800(A)(1)- Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
