Blizzard Warning until 03:00PM Wednesday

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. Visibility reduced to one- quarter mile or less at times.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta, including Nunivak Island and the Kuskokwim Delta Coast.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM AKST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on difficult travel conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility to a quarter mile or less at times. Gusty winds could cause power outages.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavy snow and southeast winds gusting to 40 mph have brought blowing snow and visibilities to a quarter mile or less at Mekoryuk this morning. Blizzard conditions are expected to continue through this morning for Nunivak Island. As snow and gustier winds move inland across the Kuskokwim Delta, many locations including Bethel can expected reduced visibility to one-half mile or less, and areas along the coast can expect periods of a quarter mile or less visibility. Snow accumulations of around 2 to 3 inches are expected for Nunivak Island and the Kuskokwim Coast near Toksook Bay, with lower snow amounts expected further inland.

* AFFECTED AREAS: KUSKOKWIM DELTA
