* WHAT...For the Anchorage Hillside and higher elevations of Eagle River, Southeast winds 40 to 55 mph with gusts up to 80 mph. For the Anchorage Bowl and Eagle River, southeast winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.
* WHERE...Anchorage.
* WHEN...Until 5 AM AKST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As of 10:30 PM AKST, wind gusts across the Anchorage Hillside and higher elevations of Eagle River are peaking between 65 and 80 mph. For lower elevations, gusts are peaking between 45 and 60 mph. These winds are expected to continue over the next several hours before shifting to south and diminishing Thursday morning.
