On 02/21/2024 at approx. 2154 hours, Officers responded to a robbery alarm at Paul's Liquor (2760 Tapo Canyon Rd #2). At 2155 hours, a second alarm activation was received. Upon Officers arrival, it was determined that a robbery had just occurred and the suspect fled prior to Police arrival.

The investigation revealed an unknown suspect, approx. 23 to 24 years old and armed with a black handgun, entered the store and demanded the money from the register. The suspect also demanded cigars. The suspect placed the money and the cigars in a bag and fled the location northbound through the parking lot. An area check was conducted for the suspect with negative results. The store clerk was not injured and there is no threat to the public.
