Two employee victims were working when the suspect attempted to steal merchandise. The employees confronted the suspects, and one suspect brandished a firearm at them. The suspects left, returned a short time later, and were taken into custody by responding officers after a short foot chase. ARRESTED: Two fifteen-year-old males.
4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (2158) 100 Block of East March Lane, Lakeview District
The female victim, 23, and the suspect argued when the suspect pointed a firearm at the victim and threatened to shoot her. The suspect fled to his house and was taken into custody by investigating officers. ARRESTED: Richard Daniel Vega, 54, for assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats.
