Deputies Locate and Arrest Two Suspects Responsible for Grand Theft of Property

DATE/TIME: February 22, 2024, at approximately 10:06 a.m.

INCIDENT: PC 487(A) - Grand Theft of Property and PC 12022.1 - Committing a Felony While Out on Bail

LOCATION: 800 Block of Broadway Street, Needles, CA

SUSPECT(S): Dytanion Eley, 58 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA
                        Ashely Adame, 36 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA

VICTIM(S): Confidential


SUMMARY: On Thursday, February 22, 2024, at approximately 10:06 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to a call for service regarding a report of stolen property. The victim stated someone stole items off of his property in the middle of the night and it was captured on video surveillance. Through investigation, two suspects were identified.

On Thursday, February 22, 2024, at approximately 11:48 a.m., deputies contacted Dytanion Eley at his residence, who was positively identified as the suspect involved in the theft. At approximately 12:30 p.m., deputies contacted Ashely Adame at her residence, who was also positively identified as the second suspect involved in the theft.  

Eley was consequently arrested for P.C. 487(A) - Grand Theft of Property. Adame was consequently arrested for P.C. 487(A) - Grand Theft of Property and PC 12022.1 - Committing a Felony while out on Bail.  Eley and Adame were transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Both Eley and Adame remain in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, awaiting a court hearing.  All of the items stolen were recovered and returned to the victim without incident.
