Arizona Man Arrested and Booked for Grand Theft Auto
DATE/TIME: Thursday, February 22, 2024, at approximately 1:53 p.m.
INCIDENT: CVC 10851 - Grand Theft Auto
LOCATION: North K Street and Smokestack Drive
SUSPECT(S): Todd Howell, 44 Years Old, Resident of Bullhead City, AZ
VICTIM(S): CONFIDENTIAL
SUMMARY: On Thursday, February 22, 2024, at approximately 1:53 p.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department conducted an area check near North K Street and Smokestack reference a stolen vehicle in the area.
Deputies located the vehicle in the 1400 block of Needles Hwy and conducted a felony traffic stop. A records check confirmed the vehicle was stolen and the driver, Todd Howell was detained. Through investigation, Howell was found to be in violation of CVC 10851(A) - Grand Theft Auto. Howell was consequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Howell remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $30,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
