* WHAT...Heavy snow possible for elevations above 3000 feet. Total snow accumulations up to 16 inches possible. Valleys below 3000 feet, snow accumulations up to 3 inches. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Kellogg, Clark Fork, Pinehurst, Athol, Wallace, Fernwood, Priest River, Mullan, Dobson Pass, Sandpoint, Fourth Of July Pass, Lookout Pass, Osburn, St. Maries, Eastport, Schweitzer Mountain Road, and Bonners Ferry.

* WHEN...From late Saturday night through Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible especially over high elevation mountain passes. The hazardous conditions could impact travel Sunday evening and Monday morning. Gusty winds could cause damage to trees and isolated power outages.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavy snowfall rates half to one inch per hour for several hours.
