Suspicious incident results in two arrests 
On 02/23/24 at approx 3:13 am, an Officer patrolling the area of Hubbard Street and Los Angeles Ave observed a possible vehicle burglary in progress.
The Officer requested additional units and initiated contact with the two subjects. The subjects jumped into a vehicle, locked the doors and refused to come out. After some time, the subjects eventually exited the vehicle.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Saul Gutierrez 27 years old of Simi Valley was arrested for obstructing/delaying a police investigation and Gerardo Villalobos 32 years old of Simi Valley was arrested for obstructing/delaying a police investigation, possession of Methamphetamine and possession of an unregistered firearm. Villalobos was booked at the Ventura County Main Jail for the listed charges. Gutierrez was cited and released at the scene.
