Guns 'n Hoses Chili Cookoff 
The First Annual Guns 'n Hoses Chili Cookoff takes place today in downtown Tryon from 4-7pm. This free event, benefitting the Tryon Fire Alliance, has 15 competition teams, ranging from professionals to amateur. Visitors can vote for their favorite chili with their dollars (1st, 2nd & 3rd Place) - there will also be the judge's prize for The Copper Cauldron and the Tryon Dog Mayor, Toby will be in attendance to make his choice.
