Chino Hills Deputies Request the Public's Assistance in Locating Missing 15-year-old Girl

LOCATION: 14200 block of Peyton Drive, Chino Hills
MISSING PERSON: Halina Tran, 15-year-old Female
SUMMARY: On February 22, 2024, at approximately 5:45 p.m., deputies with the Chino Hills Police Department were dispatched to a call for a missing juvenile. The family of 15-year-old Halina Tran reported the teen had been dropped off at Ruben S. Ayala High School at approximately 8:00 a.m. that morning. When a family member went to pick her up after school she was not there. Through investigation, it was determined Halina did not attend school and was last seen walking away from the area after being dropped off.
Halina is approximately 5 feet tall, 112 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a light brown sweatshirt, light washed jeans, and carried a white shoulder bag along with a cow-print, rolling backpack.
