Special Weather Statement until 03:00AM Saturday
Accumulating light snow has brought minor accumulations to parts or northern Illinois and northwest Indiana since late this afternoon. While roads have remained largely wet or somewhat slushy, temperatures will continue to fall through the teens and 20s overnight and this may result in freezing of moisture on roads overnight. This may produce locally slippery and hazardous travel conditions overnight on untreated roads and surfaces.
