Winter Storm Watch until 11:00PM Tuesday

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. 1 to 2 feet possible with locally higher amounts possible on favored slopes. Winds could gust as high as 65 mph.

* WHERE...Grand and Battlement Mesas, West Elk and Sawatch Mountains, Northwest San Juan Mountains and Southwest San Juan Mountains.

* WHEN...From late Sunday night through Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. A detailed map of the snowfall can be found at: www.weather.gov/gjt/winter.
