Updated Map: 🚧🚨IMPORTANT TRAFFIC REMINDER🚨🚧 Preparation for the start of the Lafayette Street Emergency Sewer Replacement project will begin this Monday, February 26th. There will be two (2) VMS boards (electronic roadside signs) on site announcing the traffic pattern start date and truck detour - 1 VMS will be located on GSP southbound shoulder mile 1.5 and the other on Route 9 North approaching the intersection for Rt 162/CR 626. All advanced warning signs for the truck detour are in place (bagged) and ready for set up for Friday morning March 1 as the new traffic pattern will be implemented. Construction on Lafayette Street in Cape May is tentatively scheduled to begin on Monday, March 4th at 7am.
