In partnership with the Cloverdale Fire Protection District, the Sonoma County Fuels Crew will be carrying out a prescribed pile burning at Porterfield Creek Open Space on Tuesday, February 27th, and possibly the 28th. Residents should anticipate the presence of smoke in the area during the burn operation.

While Porterfield Creek Trails will remain accessible, park visitors may observe or detect smoke in the vicinity. Certain sections of the Open Space, such as the 3 Bridges Trail, are expected to be temporarily closed for public safety reasons. Trail closure signs will be posted in the affected areas.
