Red Flag Warning until 06:00PM Tuesday 
The National Weather Service in Dodge City has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM to 6 PM CST Tuesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 080 Kiowa, Fire Weather Zone 081 Pratt and Fire Weather Zone 090 Barber.
* WINDS...West 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent.
* IMPACTS...Open fires can quickly escape and are very difficult to control, even for experienced fire fighters.
* AFFECTED AREAS: KIOWA ... PRATT ... BARBER

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
