15-Year-Old Suspect Leads Deputies on Pursuit through Victorville in a Stolen Vehicle

INCIDENT: P.C. 496D- Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
LOCATION: Mojave Drive/ Amargosa Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): 15-year-old Male Juvenile, of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Saturday, February 24, 2024, at approximately 1:19 a.m., Deputy A. Puga attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a 2016 Hyundai Accent that was reported stolen out of Victorville.
The driver of the stolen 2016 Hyundai failed to yield and led deputies on a pursuit while driving at high speeds through several residential streets. The driver of the vehicle pulled into the Pebble Beach Apartments bringing the vehicle to a complete stop. The driver of the vehicle exited the vehicle and was taken into custody without further incident. Two juvenile passengers exited the vehicle and fled on foot, running though the apartment complex, but were quickly apprehended by deputies.
The juvenile driver was transported to Apple Valley Juvenile Hall. The two passengers were released to a guardian.
