Neighbors Detain Suspect Until Deputies Arrive and Arrest the Man Who was Exposing Himself at a Victorville Home

FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER
PAROLE VIOLATION
LOCATION: 12100 Block of Cordero Road, Victorville
SUSPECT: D’Audre Sumbry, 28 years-old, resident of Los Angeles
SUMMARY: On Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 2:21 p.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a 911 call in the 12100 block of Cordero Road in Victorville. According to the caller, she could hear a female screaming at a nearby residence.
When deputies arrived, they found the suspect, D’Audre Sumbry, being detained by neighbors on the victim’s property. According to witnesses, Sumbry was found on the victim’s property masturbating.
Sumbry was on parole and had prior convictions for indecent exposure. He is also a sex registrant (PC 290) and has not registered. He is currently being held at the High Desert Detention Center without bail on a parole violation. Additionally, he was booked for indecent exposure and failure to register as a sex offender.
