One Injured in Single Vehicle Crash 
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on 02/26/2024 at approximately 2144 hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash near the intersection of Miller Rd and Cranberry St, in Marcellus Township, Cass County Michigan.
Deputies arrived on scene and located a pickup truck that had crashed into the trees and was unoccupied. Investigation revealed that a 16 year old Marcellus, MI resident had driven the vehicle and failed to maintain control of the vehicle at the intersection and crashed into the trees on the west side of the roadway.
The 16 year old male was transported to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo by family.
Seatbelt use is unknown. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor.
Assisting in this crash was Marcellus Fire Department.
