Tomorrow will be a stormy day around the area as locally heavy rain showers with isolated thunderstorms will develop late Wednesday into Wednesday evening with gusty winds. Winds along and behind the cold frontal passage in the evening will be strong, gusting to 40-50 mph.
 
Please make sure to secure all recycling material, flatten, tie and bundle all cardboard. IWS is not responsible for any material blown away due to weather or improperly securing material. Pull back from the curb any recycling containers and garbage cans that are empty.
 
Gusty winds could also result in downed trees and power lines and localized power outages.
