Evansville man arrested for burglary. 
On February 27, 2024, at 5:24 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report that an unknown person entered a residence in the 500 block of East Poplar Street in Fort Branch. Multiple officers were dispatched to the residence since the caller who lived in the neighborhood could not identify the suspect and they never saw the suspect leave the residence. Upon arriving on scene law enforcement made entry to the residence and after brief search they located 29 year old Sebastian Denton of Evansville. After a brief investigation by Deputy Quinten Might, Mr. Denton was placed into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Burglary. Mr. Denton remains in custody without bond at this time.
Assisting Deputy Might in his investigation was Sgt. Loren Barchett, Deputy Michael Owens, and Haubstadt Officer Bryan Munnier.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
