Detective Kyle Gibson with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 56-year-old James Alvin Grogan with felonious Larceny of a Motor Vehicle. Grogan was issued a $5,000 unsecured bond.
On January 30th, deputies took a report at the Sheriff’s Office of a stolen 1999 Ford Ranger. The male victim stated that Grogan had taken his truck from his residence without permission and wrecked it. An investigation led to the charges against Grogan.
