High wind advisory issued for Hoboken; Secure lose objects
The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Advisory for Hudson County, including Hoboken. The advisory will be in effect from 4 p.m. today through 7 a.m. tomorrow.
Winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour are predicted, with gusts up to 50 mph possible. Residents should secure all loose objects outside, especially from balconies. High winds could blow down trees and power lines, resulting in power outages. Please report power outages and downed wires to PSEG at https://nj.myaccount.pseg.com/myservicepublic/outagepublic.
Please use extra caution when driving, as strong winds can make driving difficult, especially in high profile vehicles.
