Narrative: | |||||
Three juveniles were arrested for participating in an attack for the benefit of a criminal street gang. During this attack, three juvenile victims suffered stab wounds which required all three to be treated at a nearby hospital. On the evening of November 4th, 2023, at 8:48pm, Sheriff’s Dispatch received multiple calls for service reporting a fight at an apartment complex in the 800 block of Saint Charles Drive. Deputies responded and located three juvenile victims with moderate to severe stab wounds, which required immediate medical treatment. Witnesses reported five to six male suspects fled the area prior to the arrival of deputies. On February 27th, 2024, three juvenile suspects were located and arrested after a thorough investigation revealed evidence connecting the juveniles to this attack. The juveniles were booked into the Ventura County Juvenile Justice Center with a court date pending. The East County Special Enforcement Unit consists of seven detectives who focus their efforts on protecting citizens by actively investigating crime and pursuing suspects. SEU also works to closely monitor and suppress gang activity in Thousand Oaks.
