To protect your belongings and discourage auto burglaries, consider implementing the following measures:
- Conceal valuable items to eliminate the temptation for opportunistic thieves. Keep your car clutter-free to reduce the risk of crime.
- Take all your valuables with you even if you go to the store or gym for a short period of time.
- Avoid relying on dark tinted windows to conceal valuables, as thieves often use flashlights to see through them.
- Before leaving your vehicle, ensure all windows are closed and doors are locked.
