Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) Mobile Unit, Monday 3/4, through Friday 3/8
Thanks to the office of Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak, a NJ Motor Vehicle Commission’s (MVC) mobile services unit will be in Highland Park at the Community Center from Monday, March 4 through Friday, March 8. MVC staff will be providing two services – issuing REAL ID’s and renewing vehicle registrations. Making an appointment in advance is strongly recommended. Park Partners Grant Program, Applications Due, Tuesday 3/5
There's still time to submit your Park Partners grant application! The program awards funds of up to $2,000 each for five community-based projects that fit into one or more of the following categories - Environment; Arts; Culture & Diversity; Safety; Universal Access; or Health & Wellness; and Highland Park High School Student(s) class/club/projects.

Afternoon Tea Party, Wednesday, 3/13
Please join the Rutgers Women’s Rowing team for an afternoon of tea, food, and conversation on Rutgers Campus, Rodkin Academics Success Center, 201 Fitch Road, Piscataway, NJ from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Transportation will be available upon request, please sign up with the staff at the Highland Park Community Center by calling 732-819-0052.
 
A Matter of Balance,Thursday, 3/21
Matter of Balance is an award winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels.This program will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Highland Park Community Center, 220 South 6th Avenue.
 
Hidden in Plain Sight Tuesday, 3/26
Hidden in Plain Sight is a community behavioral health event that educates people working with youth about prescription drugs, THC edibles, and mental health and behavioral health challenges.  This program will be held from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Highland Park Community Center, 220 South 6th Avenue.  To register, please call 732-819-0052.
 
Free Groceries from H.P. Gives a Hoot, Tuesdays 3/5, 3/12, 3/19 & 3/26 & Wednesdays 3/6, 3/13, 3/20 & 3/27   
Highland Park Gives a Hoot offers free groceries to Highland Park families in need of support. Distributions are held every Tuesday & Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Zone 6/Teen Center, 600 Benner Street.
 
Food Pantry Distribution, Thursday 3/14 & 3/28 & Saturday 3/16 & 3/30

Highland Park Recreation Programs
Highland Park Recreation offers a variety of adult, youth and summer camp programs. Families that qualify for free and reduced lunch are eligible for a 60% discount on all programs offered by the Borough.
