Winter Weather Advisory until 10:00AM Sunday

* WHAT...Blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to 2 to 5 inches. Southeast winds gusting as high as 40 mph. Visibility reduced to a half mile or less at times.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta coast.

* WHEN...From 9 AM Saturday to 10 AM AKST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on difficult travel conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will begin Saturday morning for Nunivak Island, spreading eastward to the coast by Saturday afternoon. Blowing snow will quickly reduce visibility as east to southeasterly winds will already be sustained near 25 mph and will persist throughout the event. Conditions improve Sunday morning as snow intensity decreases and temperatures warm.
