One man is dead, another in custody, following an early morning shooting on Hilton Head Island. 
Earlier today, March 1, 2024, Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a 911 hang-up call on Fish Haul Road, Hilton Head Island, SC.
Shortly thereafter, at 3:30 a.m., another call was received reporting a gunshot victim.
Deputies arrived at a residence on Fish Haul Road and discovered an adult male victim suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
34-year-old Moses Young of Hilton Head, SC is in Sheriff’s Office custody, charged with murder.
