Hazard: Dangerous winter driving conditions exist across all County-maintained roads.
Location and Consequences: Alta Ski Hill Rd, Stateline Rd, and Alta North Rd are now OPEN. However, all county-maintained roads in Teton County, WY will have a No Unnecessary Travel advisory through 7:00 a.m. on 3/3/24. Choosing to travel during a No Unnecessary Travel advisory, you may be interfering with maintenance personnel and their efforts to improve highway safety. There is no plowing of county roads from 9pm to 3am.
Protective Action: Avoid driving on County-maintained roads unless absolutely necessary. Only the most urgent of situations should warrant travel on county roads. Drivers who attempt such travel should be familiar with local conditions and be very experienced with winter driving.
