1. Resisting Arrest (0950) 4800 Block of South State Route 99, Park District
The male victim, 50, and the suspect were involved in an argument when the suspect brandished a knife. Responding officers took the suspect into custody without incident. While in the back of the patrol vehicle, the suspect kicked the back windows, causing damage. Officers placed the suspect in a restraint device to prevent him from further damaging the patrol unit. ARRESTED: Landon Thornton, 26, for assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, and vandalism.
2. Armed Robbery (1351) 5400 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
The male victim, 32, attempted to stop the suspect from walking out without paying for the property. The suspect brandished a firearm and fled in a vehicle. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult
