Weather permitting, drivers can expect closures of the north and southbound US 75 HOV lanes between the SH 190/President George Bush Turnpike and the SH 121/Sam Rayburn Tollway/Spur 399 from 9 p.m. Monday, March 4, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, and nightly on weeknights through fall 2024 as part of a corridor improvement project.
Motorists should also be alert to crews working in the corridor and plan ahead for possible delays in the area.
This $58.8 million project was awarded to Webber, LLC to improve the mobility and use of US 75 HOV lanes in Collin and Dallas counties. Once completed, these new Technology Lanes will be available for HOVs, low-emission vehicles and motorcycles during peak hours in peak directions. Other safety improvements will also be made in the corridor, and overall completion is expected in late 2026.
