Deputies are Investigating the Theft of a French Bulldog from a Highland Home

DATE/TIME: Friday, March 1, 2024 / 3:30 P.M.

INCIDENT: PC 487E-Grand Theft of a Dog

LOCATION: 8100 block of Del Rosa Avenue, Highland, CA

SUSPECT(S): Unknown

VICTIM(S): Kaylan Savedra, 30-year-old resident of Highland


SUMMARY:  On Friday, March 1, 2024, between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., a theft of a Lilac Merle French Bulldog, valued at $2,000.00, occurred at the 8100 block of Del Rosa Avenue. Investigators determined an unknown race female adult arrived in a dark colored sedan, possibly a Honda, and parked near the dog owner’s secured front yard. The suspect approached the chain-link fence, reached over and grabbed “Lola” carrying her away to the waiting vehicle. The suspect fled in the vehicle south to 3rd Street then west toward San Bernardino. 

Lola is described as a one-year-old, female, short haired French Bulldog with a mixture of gray and white hair. Lola has multi-colored eyes with a pink and light brown colored snout. Lola was last seen with a red or brown dog collar.
