Spring has decided to come very early this year and people are already out cleaning up their yards, raking leaves and putting brush out at the curb. The Village Crew has also moved up their spring activities but the beginning of their collection of yard waste has been difficult this year, so far.
Please make sure you separate leaf piles from brush piles (and other piles) by at least 3 feet. There are some good tips (and a few pictures) on the Village’s website regarding Leaf Collection, Brush Collection and Weeds / Green Vegetation Collection. The Crew also can’t pick up leaves or brush if cars are parked in front of the piles.
