* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and northeast Illinois, including the following counties, in central Illinois, Livingston. In north central Illinois, La Salle. In northeast Illinois, Grundy and Kendall.
* WHEN...Until 600 AM CST.
* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 138 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Joliet, Ottawa, Streator, Morris, Channahon, Minooka, Peru, La Salle, Braidwood, Coal City, Marseilles, Dwight, Sheridan, Oglesby, Diamond, Seneca, Gardner, North Utica, Serena and Flanagan. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
