Media Information:
RCPD is currently investigating a fatal hit and run accident. It occurred sometime between 1:30 and 2:45 AM on March 2nd 2024. The approximate area where it occurred was on Northbound El Camino Real near the intersection of Brewster Avenue.
The victim is a 38 year old female. We are withholding the name out of respect for her family and because of current county protocols regarding who is responsible for releasing that type of information.
