On March 4, 2024, Officers responded to a report of a verbal dispute, which escalated to an individual pointing a firearm at a victim. Based on their preliminary investigation, officers determined there was a significant threat to the safety of the victim and community. Officers executed a search warrant on the individual’s residence and located legally registered and stolen firearms, along with ammunition.

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) successfully recovered 16 firearms and ammunition in the 3800 block of 39th Avenue.On March 4, 2024, Officers responded to a report of a verbal dispute, which escalated to an individual pointing a firearm at a victim.
