Annual Asbury Park St Patrick's Day Parade parking/traffic restrictions
2024 Asbury Park St. Patrick's Day Parade - traffic and parking restrictions: DATE & TIME: 03/10/2024 at 1:00PM (Remember daylight savings time.) Route: Parade starts at 7th Avenue and Ocean Avenue and proceeds south on Ocean Avenue to Asbury Avenue-then west on Asbury Avenue to Kingsley Street-south on Kingsley Street to Cookman Avenue west-Cookman Avenue to Main Street with the “Reviewing Stand” at Press Plaza---North on Main Street, left on Bangs Avenue and then-left into the Municipal lot. PLAN AN ALTERNATE ROUTE: From 1200 hours, Lake Avenue from Main Street east to Wesley Lake Drive will be closed to vehicular traffic. Local traffic ONLY may enter and exit Lake Avenue at Main Street. This Lake Avenue corridor will be used for EMERGENCY vehicles to access and exit the parade route. The 800 block of Bangs Avenue (Memorial Drive to Main Street) will be closed to all traffic at 1200 hours. Ocean Avenue from 7th Avenue to 5th Avenue will be closed at 10:00 a.m.The parade route will be shut down to vehicular traffic no later than 12pm. Main Street will be closed between Lake Avenue and Summerfield Avenue at 1:00 p.m. Bond Street behind Dunkin Donuts will be closed from Main Street to Lake Avenue at 12:00 noon. NO PARKING: Press Plaza “NO PARKING SUNDAY 9AM-5PM.” Cookman Ave “NO PARKING SUNDAY 9AM-5PM” (entire length of Cookman Avenue from Main Street to Kingsley St, BOTH SIDES OF THE STREET). Ocean Ave from 7th Ave south to Asbury Ave “NO PARKING SUNDAY 9AM -3PM”, Municipal Lot “NO PARKING 9AM-5PM” and Seventh Ave “NO PARKING 9AM-3PM) between Kingsley St and Ocean Ave. Vehicles parked within the parade route will be towed at the owner's expense.
