The Fairfield PAL Kajukenbo Club is Accepting New Members!

Train with a former World Champion Afterschool at the Fairfield PAL Teen Center

 The Fairfield PAL Teen Center’s Kajukenbo Club is accepting new members! Kajukenbo is a hybrid martial art from Hawaii.  The system’s name, Kajukenbo, is a combination of the various arts from which its style is derived: KA from Korean karate / Tang Soo Do, JU from Japanese judo and jujutsu, KEN from kenpo and/or the Japanese word for Fist, and BO from Western boxing, as well as Chinese boxing.

The Fairfield Kajukenbo Club trains on Mondays and Wednesdays at 4pm.  Class size is limited and open to the first 20 students to sign in each day.  No late admittance is allowed.  No special equipment or experience is required.

A PAL membership is required to participate.  Fairfield PAL is open to Fairfield, Suisun, and Travis teens ages 13-18 who are enrolled in middle or high school.  Memberships are available at the Fairfield Community Center (1000 Kentucky Street in Fairfield) with a valid student ID and a parent or guardian’s signature.  

ABOUT FAIRFIELD PAL
The Fairfield PAL Program is open to Fairfield, Suisun, and Travis Students ages 13-18 who are enrolled in school. Membership is FREE and can be applied for at the Fairfield Community Center (1000 Kentucky Street) with a current ID and parent / guardian signature.  The PAL Center’s drop-in program is currently closed as we prepare to re-open at after a remodel.  Fairfield PAL uses the fun of recreation to engage teens and build great qualities.
