STATEWIDE TORNADO DRILL at 11 a.m.
This morning at 11:00 AM, we will participate in the Missouri Statewide Tornado Drill. The siren system will be activated to signal the drill. Different agencies will also activate other alert & notification tools. THIS IS ONLY A DRILL. (https://stormaware.mo.gov/statewide-tornado-drill/) As part of the drill, we encourage everyone to take a few minutes, wherever you are, to seek a safe shelter place as you would in an actual tornado. Look for an area towards the center of the building, free of windows, and position yourself away from doorways or large items that could fall over onto you. Tornadoes and destructive severe thunderstorms happen regularly in our area and by practicing you will become more confident in keeping yourself safe when they do.
