Flood watch in effect for Hoboken; Avoid flood prone areas
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flood watch for Hudson County, including Hoboken, from 1 p.m. today through 6 a.m. tomorrow. Excessive rainfall of 1 to 3 inches, with locally higher amounts, is possible.
Avoid flood-prone areas
The Office of Emergency Management reminds residents to avoid flood-prone areas. Intense rainfall of greater than 0.8 inch per hour could result in flooding in low-lying areas. Do not walk or drive through barricades or flooded areas.
