On Friday March 8, 2024 The Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office in conjunction with the Beauregard Parish School Board Office will be conducting an Active Shooter EXERCISE at South Beauregard High School. This is a training exercise only. There will be emergency personnel and vehicles from multiple agencies on scene during this training exercise. We are distributing this information in an attempt to make aware as many people in the community as possible to avoid community panic. This training exercise will last from approximately 8:00am through 11:00am. Faculty, Staff, Students, and Parents have been made aware of this event via the Beauregard Parish School Board Office. We plan on conducting and concluding the training exercise as soon as possible, in the safest manner and have the school day return to normal.
