Starting Thurs Mar 7, the 3600 Bl of Fir St near 3610 Fir St. will be closed due to construction. No parking at area.

Attention Residents,
The City of East Chicago will close the 3600 block of Fir St. at the area near 3610 Fir St. for an emergency sewer repair. “No parking signs” will be installed so the contractor can bring in heavy equipment and traffic control. Road closure will start Thursday March 7, 2024. The closure will last until further notice. Weather permitting.
Please note NO PARKING or TRAFFIC IN THE WORK SITE. Please OBEY the NO PARKING signs as vehicles will be towed at OWNERS expense.
