Disturbance call leads to arrest of Fort Branch man.

On March 7, 2024 at 7:45 p.m. Gibson County Deputies were dispatched to the 8000 block of South Angelia Drive near Fort Branch to investigate a possible disturbance.  Upon arriving on scene Deputy Quinten Might and Haubstadt Officer Bryan Munnier began an investigation into the incident, and after speaking with all the parties involved they placed 33 year old Brett Weicht into custody.  Once the investigation was completed Mr. Weicht was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Confinement. 
 
Assisting Deputy Might and Officer Munnier in their investigation was Deputy Zach Lienemann.
 
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
