Activity for March 7, 2024:
- Officer Bean was dispatched to the 100 block of North Gorham Street for a domestic dispute. JCYC refused to lodge the 16-year-old male suspect for felonious assault.
- Deputy Director Garcia, Lieutenant Postma, and Officer Bean responded to the 1100 block of First Street for a domestic situation. A 31-year-old male was arrested for parole violation.
- Officer Goings was dispatched to East Michigan Avenue and North Gorham Street for a traffic crash. A 38-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
- Officer Goble responded to the 2000 block of Kibby Road for a found firearm. The firearm was reported stolen in 2021, and will be sent to the state lab for testing.
- Cadet Richardson read to students at Hunt Elementary for National Reading Month.
- Officer Tripp was dispatched to the Jackson Crossing Mall for a subject shoplifting. A 28-year-old female was arrested for retail fraud, and conditional bond violation.
- Officer Tripp made contact with a subject in the area of West Michigan Avenue and North Jackson Street. The 54-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation.
