* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following county, Cherokee and Missouri, including the following counties, Barton, Benton, Camden, Cedar, Dade, Dallas, Hickory, Jasper, Lawrence, Polk, St. Clair and Vernon.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM CST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 545 PM CST, Several inches of rainfall occurred from earlier heavy rain and thunderstorms. Some low water crossings and minor flooding near streams and creeks will be possible. - This includes the following low water crossings... Sons Creek at County Road 113, Macks Creek at Coffey Hollow Road, Little Niangua at County Road 200, Weaubleau Creek at 350 Road, Brush Creek at 1200 Road, Little Niangua at County Road 66 and Dry Fork at Pine Road. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Areas along the North Fork of the Spring River near Purcell. Areas near the Sac River at Caplinger Mills. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
