Police are currently responding to calls for service involving numerous teens with "guns" around Hillsdale Mall. We've determined they are participating in a Tik Tok trend called “Senior Assassin”. The guns aren't real, but could easily be mistaken for one, especially if modified. This poses a real risk to personal safety, especially to those unaware. 

There is an app called SplashIn where you basically track all locations of the players involved. The goal is to assassinate rival teams via water guns/balloons. The trend takes it a step further by painting these fake guns black. We don't think we need to tell you how extremely dangerous that is. 

So, if you have a teen, please check their location and/or reach out to them to ensure they are not participating in this "game" right now. Police are detaining teens and locating these fake "firearms" now. We are receiving calls and ask for your assistance to help end this game tonight.
