...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in West Virginia... Opequon Creek near Martinsburg affecting Berkeley and Jefferson Counties. For the Opequon Creek...including Martinsburg...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Opequon Creek near Martinsburg.

* WHEN...Until late this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Water begins to cover backyards of homes on Bowers Road (County Road 1/1). Douglas Grove Road (County Road 9/16) is flooded and impassible. Water also approaches Golf Course Road (County Road 36) and Grapevine Road (County Road 9/14).

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:30 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 9.4 feet, or 0.6 feet below flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early this morning to a crest of 10.8 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.8 feet on 01/16/1995. - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information
