OWI and Vehicle Pursuit
On 03/10/2024, at approximately 1:55 a.m., Janesville Police Officers observed a white Jeep traveling at a high rate of speed on W. Court. Officers attempted to make a traffic stop on the vehicle, but it fled at a high rate of speed, almost colliding with an innocent vehicle at Mineral Pt and Arch St. The jeep became disabled after hitting the curb and the driver fled on foot. Two occupants of the Jeep were endangered due to the driving behavior of Jonathan Richardson. With the assistance of the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Drone Team, officers were able to locate the suspect, Jonathan Richardson. Wisconsin State Patrol responded and assisted with investigating the accident.
